First if you are trying to read codes on the dash reader or on one of the OBDII readers that you can buy at an auto store you will not see ALL the codes a dealer's WiTech will show. Second, depending on what action the PCM is trying to take to cure the issue it thinks it has may not cause it to set a code. Maybe it just thinks it needs to raise the idle like when the car was new and the problem will self correct over time. If the Tooth Error Correction was way off it might decide it can't adjust what it believes is a faulty cylinder fire and then the PCM might set a specific cylinder misfire code such as P0301 or a multiple misfire code if it thinks many cylinders are mis-behaving. It can also set a code for a misfire in the first 1,000 rpms if it detects the error immediately after starting (I don't remember that code number though).

Just to be clear the Tooth Error Correction factor may have nothing to do with your issue. However given the change to the crank sensor I would ask a Viper Tech if it was supposed to be calibrated after installation of the new sensor and then find out if they did it.

Agree, we will be going to a Viper tech on Tuesday to let me see of this issue and will explain about the crank sensor replacement subject as well.

Funny you mention this. There seems to be several pages missing from WiTech. I spoke to WiTech yesterday and they told me to call Mopar Tech Authority...so, I'm doing that later today.

    This makes sense.

So just got back from the dealer. They recalibrated the throttle and it still stayed at 1000 rpm. They did some research and found out the newest flash update by the last dealer when they did the crank sensor requested an PCM flash which is set for 1000 rpm idle. Crazy right lol, they could find nothing wrong and said it’s as it’s supposed to be this way according the the newest flash. If an when others get a reflash for what ever reason most likely will have a high idle like this, assuming its emmissions crap related?

Then it will likely drop back down once you get between 750 and 1000 miles or so on her. Could be related to the TEC parameter setting.
