That seems to vary a lot between people who have reported their results. From no difference to significant difference. Lots of posts on the subject. The recommendation to check when warm is discounted by many; but comes from a change made in the directions in the owner's manual from 2013 to 2014 which changed
FROM: "The best time to check the oil level is approximately five minutes after a fully warmed engine is turned off or before starting the engine after it has sat overnight."
TO: "The best time to check the oil level is approximately five minutes after a fully warmed engine is shut off. Do not check oil level before starting the engine after it has sat overnight.Checking engine oil level when the engine is cold will give you an incorrect reading"

Tested this today, seems to be about 1/16 of an inch difference between my cold oil level and 5 mins warm up as well as fully warmed up. Dipstick was checked 1 min after car was shut off each time.
