    Stripe installer

Wondering if anyone in Northern New England can give me a recommendation for a shop to do the Vinyl stripe installation on my 98 GTS? There are certainly lots of shops around, but looking for one that I can rely on to do an outstanding job. I live in southern Maine, so a vendor in that area, NH or north of Boston would be great. Appreciate any help you guys have to offer. Thanks

You should be sure your hood and fascia are aligned well before applying the stripes.

The guy that did my stripes on my 01 is a real pro. He comes to my house to do Expel on my cars and did a great job on the stripes. He is reasonable. He is located in Pembroke Mass, south of Boston. Don't know if he would come your way or perhaps you could come his way. If you are interested I will PM his info to you.

Thanks guys. Hood and fender alignment is excellent, but thanks for the prompt. Paul, I did connect with your installer but he didn't really want to take it on. I think its a rather complex job and perhaps one that takes more time to do than one can actually reasonably charge for - if that makes any sense. He certainly did a great job on yours. It looks fantastic. Hopefully, I can source someone even closer. Appreciate the replies.

OK. It did take him quite a while. It isn't easy. Maybe he didn't want to do another.

It sounded like a challenge for sure, but there's no doubt he put the time in and did a great job. Also, relationships matter and you've done other work with him. I get it. That's ok, I would imagine someone very good is nearby. Not a huge number of exotics or supercars running around in Maine, but a surprising number of very high end 911's and Lambos, not to mention the usual deluge of Challengers and Mustangs. I'll find a craftsman eventually. Thanks for the name regardless. Steve

I have given Mike's info out so many times, I completely forgot I had given it to you already. I'm sure you can find one in your area. Any of the professional detailing shops that do wraps are capable of doing the stripes. Good luck.

Vinyl stripes suck. Had them for a few years but they were constantly getting chipped and you could see the base color. Got them painted on and then a clear wrap over. No more chipping.
