Official Road Course Lap Times Thread

Quick Note: I created a very successful thread like this on Corvette forums in the C7 section. This thread has grown tremendously since 2016 and has an organized, quick reference ability to see others lap times and learn from others. It's always been my hope to combine a number of platforms to one central, and comparable data base. There are some attempts to do this online, but none that do so in an organized and simple fashion. So, for now, I'd like to see what you guys have, as I've already found a few on here with some track times and vids.

If you'd like to compare your laps to some users Corvette's, you can click the link below and it will take you to that thread; you'll see quite a bit of data has been compiled, though very little ZR1 to date. I will build this one, similar to that one.

Example of what your post should look like:

    -Lance Arnold (or username here)
    -Nurburgring
    -Full Course, non 24hr layout
    -Gen V
    -2017 ACR
    -Kumho
    -7:01.3
-Motul fluid, blah blah blah, etc
-a bit more seat time, and we may have had it. Sector times show sub 7 is possible

It's nice but these are pro driver times...what I've worked to compile is the amateurs, the actual ownership, with video to watch/learn from as well, etc. You'll also notice in the Corvette forum, each time is linked to the users post and their Youtube lap (great byproduct of the factory PDR). We expect pro drivers to put the cars on the edge, but seeing real owners and operators drive the car, it says a lot about the platform and its capability. It was REAL surprised watching one video of a user on here, 09 ACR and his GenV ACR on kumhos doing 1:51's at VIR full course....that's rippin for a street tire/owner driver.

I guess looking over here, I'm wondering how many people are really tracking ACR's vs people going all out race car or just "collecting" and occasional driving. Seems like the ZR1 track guys haven't materialized quick either...there's a few, but not many yet.

Ok just posted in case you wanted them too for reference. I have all the data and video from my laps but I'm no where near as quick as guys like Gary and Cable so not really worth posting.

Its not really about worth, its about just creating a central database for owners here to see others lap times. Sometimes guys who never got out there see there are varying levels of ability and they get out there. I saw a lot of that on the other forums. It's good to grow the list, add to it.
