Hey guys!
Putting together a heads/cam build for my 2006 coupe. Figure I'd document it and maybe get some advice/input on what I put together. Regardless, this car has been down since June of last year...argh. It was Paxton supercharged (how I bought it)...one day after some spirited highway driving, I heard quite the ruckus from under the hood. Turns out I lost part of one of my pistons. Fast forward nearly a year of me pinching my pennies and here I am. I did tons of research, price comparisons (because I had to be very conscious of budget), and landed with some great vendors after putting it all together.
Thankfully, my block and heads were salvageable. The engine was torn down and washed, cylinders honed. The heads were washed, decked and milled.

Quite excited to get this thing back on the road!!
I'm hoping the car comes in around 625-650whp on a dynojet. Not a huge concern of peak power since this will primarily be a street car. Time will tell. Shooting to have the car done around the 4th of July. I've been talking with Torrie (unleashed tuning) and he will be tuning this. Super excited!
