14th Tail of the Dragon Over and Out

Tail of the Dragon 14 is over. What a weekend! Great weather. Over 110 cars and 220+ people. Special thanks to our partners in the Carolinas for all their help. A special nod to Dick Winkles for helping members with injured cars. Kudos to Mark Trostle and the rest of the Michigan Mopar mafia for their appearance and stories told about cars past, present, and future. VOA President Beth Sewell came with a rough bunch from Texas whose cars rode in a Dodge Viper tractor trailer. Nothing like 80 feet of beautiful red big rig with a Viper on the side to say "ready to tame a dragon"! Region presidents from Georgia, Florida, and the Western Reserve showed up with some of their members in tow. A couple of from Toronto tried to rest the long distance award away from the Floridians. Lots of folks drove lots of miles to get to our event and we appreciate it. Best quote heard from a spectator "I never knew they made that many Vipers". Thanks again to all who came and to all who helped make it a success.

After 14 years, I think this one may very well have been the best yet. Thanks to all the attendees that make this event what it has become.

Another phenomenal trip! We had a blast catching up with old friends and making new ones! We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks to everyone involved with planning and putting this trip on for us year after year.

Thanks Joel, for all the great preparatory work done by the regions hosting. The event was extremely well organized especially given the shear number of participants. Was Beth's and my first trip to the Dragon and what a great time we had meeting new friends from around the country. What a great weekend and I will recommend it to all in the future! It was great meeting all the folks not only from your region but from around the country.
