Gen V TA shock rebuild recommendations

Hey everybody, i'm looking for recommendations on where to have the OEM Bilstein shocks rebuilt.
So for the 3rd time now, one of the rear shocks on my 2014 TA is leaking shock fluid. First, the terrible Bilstein crimps broke off at the shock reservoir and leaked the fluid out on both rear shocks. I had both rear shocks rebuilt by Eric Messley at EMI Racing. After the rebuild, the driver side shock leaked from one of the shock seals. And now, the passenger side shock is leaking again after it was rebuilt the first time.

As much as I do like Eric, he is pretty much retired and doesn't have a regular work schedule to get the shock done within a month or 2. And sometimes I can't get ahold of him for a week or more at a time. Car season has started and I need this shock FIXED and NOW.. Also not to mention, his work has failed twice now. As much as Eric has helped me, i'm looking for other recommendations to rebuild the OEM Bilstein shock. I NEED to keep the same valving and performance. I'd also like the shock dyno'd to make sure it compares with the rear driver side shock.

Does anybody have experience with any shop that could rebuild my shock accurately and in a timely manner? I see that Bilstein themselves offer rebuild services so i'm not sure if anybody has experience with them either. HAAS Imports has also popped up in some searches for rebuilding earlier generation Viper shocks.

    Any help is appreciated!

Edit: Unfortunately, full aftermarket suspension packages are not in the budget right now. I will need to stick with OEM.

How much will the rebuild cost? You can get MSC coilovers for about $4K-$5K

Honestly i'm hoping a rebuild of 1 shock would cost less than $500. A new bolt in rear shock assembly is $2k from Dodge but I've been told they do not make the valving/spec for the 2014 TA any longer. So the rear shock for the 2014 TA has been superseded by the 2015+ TA shock which is apparently softer. That leaves me with basically having to get the 2014 shock rebuilt or buying a used 2014 TA shock unless I went aftermarket, which is too expensive for now.

Another vote for MCS. Forget wasting time on leaking shocks.

The following folks were recommended on a couple of forums when I researched quite a few years ago. Performance Shock, Inc. ; Sonoma Raceway, CA

( I sent my '02 ACR Dynamic Suspensions shocks to them; but, after disassembly, they found out that a couple of the cylinders were scored and replacements were not available off the shelf. They would have to be made. They let me know the options. I decided not to rebuild.)

I used Performance Shock, Inc. Sonoma Raceway, CA to rebuild a set of Ohlins TX36 shocks for another car. This was in 2010 or 2011, if I recall the cost ~$100/per + shipping and included dyno graphs.

I could definitely look into Performance Shock Inc as well, thanks for the recommendation guys. And believe me, if I could afford an aftermarket shock setup right now I definitely would.

Anybody else have any recommendations for shock rebuilding?

Does bilstein offer a factory rebuild service? I used KW NA to rebuild my G4 ACR dampers and I can say enough how happy I was with their customer service. I would hope Bilstein offered something like this.

Performance Shock is the correct answer.

It looks like Bilstein does offer a rebuild service: https://www.bilstein.com/us/en/techn...ledge/service/
Just not sure how well or in depth they rebuild their own shocks, and how far they are out on service. I'm REALLY hoping not to have the car down for a month. I'll probably call them and performance shock.

    Any other recommendations?

Time would be a concern, but quality shouldn’t. According to the website they will bring them back to OEM specs which is what you want. KW turned mine around in less than 10 days, but that was with me physically talking with an advisor. I recommend calling them about expediting and their warranty. I know this isn’t really the same comparing two different OEMs, but I had a great experience dealing with my OEM shock provider.
    Good luck there my friend.
