    Front splitter came off

When cruising on the freeway normal speeds my self-put-on Agency power front splitter came off and got gobbled under the car and flew out the back. As soon as i heard the loud scraping before rear end ejection i knew it was detroyed. My engineering failed me this time but i learned a lot. The wife was hysterical though. Wish i had after pics but im not stopping on a major interstate. 20190411_005252.jpg

Damn. Why do you think it departed? Did you attach it per instructions? Interested as I am thinking of adding one.
    Thanks.

My thinking was that with the way it was designed all you needed was to keep thee metal strips from sliding away from the bumper thus i 3m'd it. But if i do shell out 1600 for another one, im removing the bumper an going nut/bolt/washer. There were no instructions.

Man that sucks! It should have stayed on with the right 3M stuff. My TA 1.0 spoiler stayed on at speeds over 160mph with a tiny 3m strip. Maybe where you attached it too wasn't cleaned well enough?

The agency power front splitter that I had fit horribly. I had to drill holes and bolt it so it would stay on. Complete nonsense for a 1,600 dollar part.

No worries about that with the TA aero as it's securely bolted down thankfully.

Yeah you're so right, mine fit perfect along the front edge but the defect with mine was the triangular edges that fit snug on driver side but passenger side had a 1/2 gap from body along with it tilted at much more of an angle than drivers side.

I prepped it with a solvent but i should have also riveted it atleast, my T.A spoiler is held on with 3m like you said and has never failed, i guess the air going over each part has a different effect
