    2014 Buyback

Another Viper GTS with no goodies just passed the FCA auction block. While a few years back they went in the mid $40s this one sold for High $70. Keep in mind these are FCA dealer only auctions. I think it had about 4-5K miles Buy back was due to "noisy engine" what ever that means. Had both r28 and r29 done and passed. Buy Back was under Extended warranty probably here in CA.

This would show dealers are thinking prices are holding.

Don't know which dealer bought it but it will be for sale soon probably in the low $90s.

I don’t know where they’re going with that one at that price. High 70s plus auction fees and transportation. Perhaps the dealer had a friend that wanted the car so they paid all the smoke for it.

Really strong $$$’s Carl. Like G5 said maybe had a retail buyer with him? Or, wonder if the buy back king up north bought it?

Great to see you at Fontana, heading up to Laguna this Saturday for a 103db day on Monday

How did Auto Club Speedway go? Also, your car is under 103db's? My bone stock ACR minus cats blew a 108db! My buddy with same car and with cats blew a 98db same day same track.

AZ, had a great time and almost texted you from the track. Ran Saturday only, no rain. Car ran great and I was really there for T&T. Brand new diff and had an intake sensor issue at Willow that Sunday after you left. Also, Dan worked again on the fuel pick up issue. All went great, car was so strong!!

Only ran 3 sessions, tied my PB in the 2nd session on the 2 or 3rd lap. Didn’t push too hard as I had a friends 16 year old in the car the whole time. Plus, NASA combined 3&4 and it was real crowded and they had a lot of passing restrictions. I had fun and so happy the car ran great

Just finished all my prep. Leaving mid day Saturday for Laguna. I’ve passed 105 before. I asked Dan what he thought about my new motor and H/C. He thought the cam might make it a little louder. 7 session event, I’ll prob lift at the sound booth for 1/2 day then go full after lunch. We’ll see?? Take care and I’ll bring the go-pro.

Prices on these cars are holding really solid. Not that many around, and nothing else like it. Always a good combo! Oh and toss in them all being manuals

No more being made, and everybody wants the GTS options. Base SRT cars go for a good amount less. Numbered / special edition cars obviously will hold value best and possible rise.
