I just watched/listened to the videos. I'd agree that is sounds like a faint rubbing on the brakes. This might sound odd, but how often do you spray the brake dust out of the brakes? I noticed my brakes really like to squeak if I don't spray some water in there once a week or so.

One other thing worth checking is the bolts on the brake calipers and double checking your lug nuts are torqued down all the way.

Good luck on hunting down the cause.

You know what I rarely spray them off. Going to try that right now. Thanks!

I have an update for you guys. I went with a buddy tonight and as I turned circles he walked by each wheel. Right away he said noise is brake squeal from driver side rear wheel. Now just need to take wheel off and inspect brakes better. Even though I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for lol.

Did the sound change when you applied the brakes, as I suggested above? If it didn't change when applying the brakes, then I suggest trying the same test when pulling up lightly on the parking brake. If that makes the sound go away or change, then you might have the dragging parking brake pad issue that is common on the Gen 3 & 4. Lots of discussion on this forum about the Gen 3/4 problem and a little discussion wondering whether Gen 5 changes would fix that.

It didn't change when I applied the brakes and I forgot to try pulling up on the ebrake. I will be trying that on Monday but I'm thinking it is the parking brake issue that the Gen 3/4 had. Is there an adjustment that can be made or what is the solution? Can someone point me to the right gen 3/4 thread for this?

I want to say thanks again for all the suggestions and help, it is much appreciated.

Pull up e brake handle slightly and see if noise changes.

I wish mine was tire skip. This is my third car that I have owned that will skip in parking lots, but that comes with the territory. I only hear the sound when turning left and it is more of a belt chirp. I plan on checking everything out sometime this week.

So, I narrowed it down to driver side e brake. Took off the wheel and inspected everything. Noticed that both the pads, inner and outer, looked about the same and barely worn. Was about to give up when I noticed something poking out between the caliper and pad. All I could see was a tiny little corner like the size of a pen tip. I took a little screw driver and pried like crazy and a little stone popped out. Too late to go out and see if the squeal is gone. The way the stone was wedged in there it wasn't quite touching the rotor but it was so close that a little bit of heat probably made it touch the rotor. Fingers crossed that's it!

That'll be the cause. Happened to me before with another vehicle. Rock got wedged between caliper and metal guard. Sounded like a train locking it's brakes up.
