The OEM Clutches are made by LUK Mopar just boxes them up under their own name.

Do you wrench on the car yourself or do you take it to a shop?

Clutch kits are available on the bay and of course from vendors here.

You will need a clutch kit and make sure you also buy or make sure it comes with a new slave cylinder and bearing. If you can't get help, it might be worth asking a local garage if they are happy with you supplying the parts?

Very easy to do from ramps in the front and stands in the back. Done it way too many times. I think I have a thread on the entire process somewhere.

Why? Do you take the car to the Drag Strip? How many miles are you doing per year?

My car is probably the most used Viper in the UK and Im now at 91,000 miles, I do sprint demonstrations, charity drive days pulling big wheel spins and laying down rubber.
the only thing I have different is I fitted a Fidanza Lightweight flywheel purchased from Roe Racing, my clutch is a LUK clutch and its been fine for several years so far. I don't have a Supercharger or Turbos so the stock set up is fine for a standard engine.

Its your choice, there are loads of clutch kits out there for all different applications, but there's nothing wrong with the stock set up.

And What Dave said, easy to do with jack stands and ramps, but the trans weighs 350lbs so you will need trolley jack or Trans jack to help with install or removal.
Search the forum or how to guides, there are pictorials out there

Leave it stock. Auto-X is frequently run in 1 or 2 gears. Vipers have so much torque, I just cruised in second a lot of the time and worked on smoothness.

Your thinking is incorrect. Unless you are going over 650 RWHP, stay with the LUK. It is a great clutch

So ditching factory parts is not an upgrade here? Whoa bro. Deep do-do stuff.

Dave, any chance you could send me the link to the thread you mentioned? I got a buddy who is going through the same issue.
