    TA brake upgrade to ACR

Has anyone upgraded the brakes on a TA or GTS to ACR or ACR-E brakes? Just curious what the cost and exactly what parts are needed? There may be a thread on this if so please direct me.
    Thanks

I believe @1of1TA1.0 has done it. I thought about doing it because a set of carbon rotors were for sale. But you will need to get rear oem ACR-E knuckles to make the rear work. Last i looked its $2200 each, and obviously you will need two.

You can buy steel rotors and correct pads for the ACR calipers. Racing brake and another mfg make them. Looked like a pretty easy mod. I plan on doing it over the summer. Plus you need 19” wheels to clear the front.

    Search is your friend.

Below is a comprehensive thread on doing what you are asking using OEM parts as well as offerings from Racing Brake on using a combination of OEM parts and their parts.

Hey Scott, I've done it on my 2013 track pack car. (that's the car I had at Willow Springs) I spent about $11K, the most expensive parts are the knuckles you have to get to do the swap. If it wasn't for them this would be a dirt cheap swap.
Search hard for the parts and you can get them cheap. Email me
