Selling my 2014 Orange TA 6 of 93

Getting ready to post my 2014 Orange TA in the classifieds.

Don't need the money. Really don't want to but medical problems the past two years precludes me from driving it and I can't stand just seeing it sit covered up in the garage.

Don't trust anyone to drive it.

Will have it posted in a couple of hours.

I may regret it but it only makes sense.

    SOLD

Well, that went better than I thought. She asked: Are you going to buy a Vette? Are you going to get an automatic?

Not really even thinking about another car right now.

Sorry you have to sell, but good luck. Hope you get your asking price.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with driving it. Yours must be one of rather few one owner TAs. Gorgeous car, and I'm sure you'll find a great buyer to love her.

    Best,

    Bruce

If it's a matter of stick vs automatic...PPG/Pfitzner sequential gear box? I'm sure it's pricey, but may be worth looking into.

Glad I could be of minor assistance, my good friend, and do take care and keep us posted on your health. I know , one of these days, when you are feeling better, you will be back in a Viper?!

Congrats on the sale, and best wishes on the health issues. I know how those can pretty much take over everything in life and put everything in a different perspective... These cars require 100% attention, and when you're not feeling well or are injured, it takes a lot of fun out of it. But, they're good therapy when you need something to look forward to - so hopefully you can use that to set your sights on another one when the time is right.

Thanks for all the well wishes. And like Martin said these cars require 100% attention.

Also, yes it sold quickly. Of course I know that's one of the more sought after Gen V's.

    Thanks everyone.

Right now if I were to pull the trigger I would have probably purchased this car but it sold before I made up my mind.

I was thinking about buying this car since it with the exception of the wheels is like the first new car we bought. I gave $3200 for it brand new. But it sold before I could make up my mine. In fact on my first Air Force enlistment I got about that amount to reenlist and bought it overseas. The government shipped it back for me on a C5 plane as a lot of the planes were returning to the states empty.

Not anywhere near the same league as a Viper but has a lot of sentimental value. Oh, and I also could have bought a brand new Datsun 240Z which was the first year in 1970. They also ran about $3200 that year but it didn't have a back seat and the MGB had a small jump seat. Our oldest was three years old at the time.
