Car getting picked up by Prefix tomorrow for high compression pistons

The 9.0 is getting 13 to 1-ish pistons and Jesel rockers. Can't wait for dyno results I'm hoping for around 40hp/40tq

Probably 110, preferably unleaded. I'm sure Scot can chime in here.

I haven't seen that at places I buy fuel. It's all been leaded. The highest I've seen is 101 unleaded. Maybe it's different in a your free state over there.

AZ, sounds great!!! But, for the same $$$'s, how about a sequential??

110 unleaded?? Better buy it by the barrel and store in your rig. Don't think there's any out here

I vaguely remember he had a sequential for a short time and didn’t like it. It didn’t last long, but I don’t recall much discussion about why he got rid of it.

You may be surprised. 101 may be all that is needed on cool days. Im going with MS103 or MS109 for more detonation protection on hot days. The good news is, Scot will let you know. Just keep in mind, an environmentally controlled dyno room may be cooler than what you see on certain track days.

How much power will the car gain going high compression, another 50-75rwhp?

I'm curious if A&C performance has completed there 9.2L stroker motor and if that's a motor good for the road course.

I’ve been waiting for the 9.2 numbers too!

I don't think adding 12 cubic inches would be worth the risk of going that thin on the cylinder walls, especially for road racing. I see potential cooling issues there too.

Those engines can run leaded fuel like C16, they have a fixed calibration that does not need O2 sensors and only adjust for barometric pressure.
The Drag Pack Viper motors ran compression like that and lived just fine.

Is the Block line bored over size for the cam roller bearings or are the bearings stock sized and cam journals reduced in size ???

I appreciate your response Jack and I realize the original stock block has No Cam Bearings , just wondering what roller bearing we are looking at in the above picture ?

Scot will have to chime in here

The cam tunnel was bored over size to fit 60 mm and 55 mm roller cam bearings

The stock cam journal is slightly larger that the 60 and 55 mm sizes, so its no problem to grind the cam to the roller cam size.

A couple more pics, the big solid cam is in, and they had to get some valve cover extenders made for the rockers. It held me up about a week, so Scot at Prefix offered to trailer my car to Viper Rendezvous so I can still make the event!
