New Viper owner again

Good day to you all,

When I sold my 1998 GTS in 2008 I always knew I would want to recapture a Viper again along with a couple other cars I have owned in the past of which I really enjoyed. Yesterday was the big day when I achieved my goal and added a 2016 Viper GTC 1 of 1 to my Backdraft Cobra and 2009 GT500. I am blessed to have triple snakes in my garage with Carroll Shelby lineage and promised my wife I am DONE buying sports cars as these represent every type I could possibly want. And then I took the GTC out for a drive so we could "get acquainted"...…

HOLY CRAP! I've driven all sorts of exotics, race cars, street performance cars and NOTHING has ever brought this amount of excitement, exhilaration, and pure driving enjoyment as the Gen 5 Viper. I felt at home immediately and the car is intuitive as it responds smartly to every input. The previous owner had some aftermarket work done to the 8.4 L which now is a 9.0 stroker with cams, heads and exhaust. Basically it is a 755HP go kart! I am very much looking forward to getting up to the NC mountains for a spirited drive and some back country roads near my home. Maybe a track day is in the future as well. It rained soon after the car arrived so this is the only photo I have thus far, but plan to get all three snakes out for a photo shoot on a nice day soon.

Yes. Bernie and I have been discussing my potential Viper purchase for a few years and he finally acquired one I wanted. It's a fantastic car.
