    Post Lowering Springs Recommendations

Hey guys I have a 2017 Viper GT and just ordered some wheels for it and wanted to get some lowering springs! Can you guys recommend me the best springs close to OEM or better quality? Also dropping the most ride hight. Thanks.

I have the Tractive coil overs on my car(Same as Goonzsquad bought). Those have height adjustment, and read off the can bus, same as the factory. I've also heard nothing but good things about MCS for our cars, but they're analog, so you lose the selective ride.

You can retain the OEM springs and just buy lowering caps, that is what a lot of people do, and reasonably priced, if you don't mind the factory suspension, and just want to lower it. I bought my suspension strictly for the roadcourse. Although, a better ride on road was a nice bonus.

''Changing '17 wheels?'' The new tire size might determine the answers.......

Spring Caps maintain the great ride-choice; So do Eibach Springs, but both are too low.

What does tractive start out at? Before recommending that I would ask what their budget is, isnt the tractive an $8,000 suspension w/computer?

At the tractive price range, I would also look into the TKO Motorsports option.

I thought his and the other channel are linked somehow. I assumed he'd know the tractives are pricey which is why I also mentioned MCS and the caps. I also didn't recommend one over the others, I thought. I think I covered all the budgets from high to low?

I just called TKO to ask about this. It seems to be a high quality shock like penske and ohlins but with a hydraulic cup that raises and lowers the cars kind of like airbags except with hydraulic fluid instead of air. The DSC tractive one is electronic adjusting in which you can adjust dampening and rebound on the fly. Seems like the TKO is higher quality but doesn't have electronic adjusting vs DSC is able to adjust but not as race-bred as the TKO product. This is just my impressions when I talked to TKO so I need to call DSC and get their selling points.

lowering springs implies he doesnt want to get coil overs. I mean he could change his mind. But to ask about what lowering springs to get and then the first suggestion are the 8k tractive suspension is a bit extreme.

It's like someone wanting a little more power and asking about an under drive pulley and exhaust then you suggest a twin turbo kit. Lol
