    Foggy Headlight

I bought my 2000 Viper ACR about a year ago and over the past year, the passenger side headlight has gotten pretty gnarly looking. I have tried the Turtle Wax Drill Based Headlight Restorer kit and it didn't do anything other than make it nice looking for a couple minutes. I've been passively looking for a headlight to replace it with but I thought maybe there is something the forum members know that I do not.

Any Gen2 owners (or anyone ) have any ideas?

Pictures are below showing the issue. Outside surface seems to be very smooth and I suspect it's all inside. Are these headlights Restoreable?

Sorry I can't figure out how to put pictures on a forum anymore after 10 mins of trying...please help

Mine had the same issue as it was fogging up. We sanded them down and re-cleared the lenses. Also, did an LED upgrade. Waxed and sealed the lens. It has worked for me.

Few more pics. I'm not saying it is the right way or the wrong way, just what I did for my situation.

Has anyone had problems with the coating (Paint?) on the inside peeling in the front?

Sand with 1000 grit using plenty of water, then 2000 grit and polish with plastic polish. If you have a kit use the sealer when finished. When using the 2000 finish up with light pressure. Works every time.
