How are the amps fixed to the car?

When I bought the car, there was no amp on driver side. Passenger side is still there and it seems to be... rivets? I went to the dealership and obviously they have no clue. He suggested to install metal screw but I don't like it, I like to keep everything the way it was at the beginning.

The Gen 2s have an intermediate bracket that the amp bolts to. I can't recall how the Gen 1 was held in.

The more photos you post of your car, the more interesting the history becomes. This Viper has a lot of stories to tell.

I would like to post a little "bump" here. I'm sure somebody already removed and installed back those amps on a Gen 1?

On the Gen I, the amps slide into the brackets that are riveted to the trunk. From your picture of the drivers side, it looks like the top bracket is there but the bottom one is missing.
