So I get home from work this morning and pulling into the driveway the oil pressure goes to ZERO!
No rattling from lifters or anything like that. So I knew it has to be the sensor. So after I wake up I run to the closest Dodge Dealer and they have one in stock. $90 I am sure that is a VIPER TAX on top of that $30 piece..... Looks so easy to get to. But Darn that thing scraped me up and gave me hell. Luckily I had a socket that fit over it but still tight area. And getting the pigtail off was a bit of a pain too. But Again Luckily I had a special little tool that looks like a screwdriver handle with a sharp hook... so I was able to pull the red tab up to release the pigtail. Took me about 30 minutes of cussing but I got it replaced. Oil Pressure good again! Glad I did not have to have her Towed to Tomball just for something simple like this...................If this happens to any of you guys. the RED button looking thing needs to be pulled up to release the pigtail.
