What Are Gen IV 5 spokes Worth - set of 4 original wheels and tires

I think I'm going to sell my set of 4 apart from the '09 car (also for sale). These original wheels and tires were driven less than 6K miles.

I saw one of these wheels listed alone on eBay for $849 per wheel, but that seems a bit high... These wheels would go as a set, TPMS, included.

I think those five spoke wheels are the third most popular Gen3/4 wheels behind the Sidewinder 1’s and the 6 spokes. They seem to be more popular than the h-spokes, razors and 10 spikes.

If the tires aren’t timed out and you include the Centre caps I think you should get 2250-2500 or so if you’re not going to firesale them. If the tires are timed out and you’re not including Centre caps I’d say your in the 1750ish range. +/-

6k miles isn’t the problem, 10/11yr old tires are. Pretty much only good for keeping the rims safe for shipping now and a massive burnout when they arrive.

Tires are worthless and are only good for storage really. I'm a fan of those style of wheels though. I had them on my Gen 2 when I had it.

Years back they were going for around 2500 a set , without the tires ( and as noted those on it are worthless ) and would think they would bring close to that now, as they are pretty hard to find. Do keep in mind , though, that the next buyer may want the car stock , so it may actually affect the resale of your Snake.

Thanks Bill. I'm selling my '09 Viper too (listed in classifieds). So basically just parting things out of my garage.

Frankly I apologize for not reading the whole damn thing, but now noticing you are selling your car I would highly recommend you keep the rims for the buyer. Over the past few years , with the Viper no longer being built, many buyers are wanting a stock Snake , or the ability to convert it back. You may find having the rims more of a sales tool to help you sell the car , than the funds you will receive for them? Markets change and there has been a shift in folks wanting lightly modded cars or pure stock , as the influx of Collectors began back in 2016 , as many anticipated a market adjustment for a discontinued icon.

I would like to hammer home that, those tires are nothing more than a potential death trap. At 10-11 years old, the rubber has already broke down and the chance of a failure is significantly higher now. I hope you will take what I and others have said and not drive the Viper on them anymore.

Oh and, the amount of tread left has zero to do with it...

They are not on the car, they are in storage. See my thumbnail image with new wheels.

I’ve had a set for sale for months for like $1400 and they haven’t moved. Just don’t think people are buying Viper stuff much any more.
