I need to hit the track more this year

I'm ahead on tires for a change. There is also a brand new set of R7s mounted in the trailer. I did buy a set to fit the ACR dammit.

I'm calling it my own "tire wall".

What size are those continentals? Thoughts on them vs the R7?

Edit I have 18” fronts and am interested in options for track tires. I am a novice.

I'm not a fan of the continental, unless we are talking about their rain slicks.
One of my favorite dry tires to date has been the yokohama/advan a005. It had good life for a slick and was very predictable on track. Way more grip than the 888s.

You going to West Coast's event March 9th-10th @ Willow Springs?

I have not used the continentals yet. I stumbled across a deal so I grabbed them although I had just bought 2 sets of R7s. These are all 18", they will fit the Panoz though I bought a set that will fit the ACR (I have a set of 18" rims) I've been running A7 and R7 for awhile now but have run slicks from Berget way back in the day. I don't remember whose the were.

Yes, I'll be at WCR in my Panoz though I have R7s mounted and ready to go. Depending tire wear I may mount a set of these for the following weekend back at Willow. The rears are a bit taller so I will most likely use them at Cal Speedway if/when I go with Nasa as I could use a bit more top end on that track.

Then there remains the use on the Viper if I ever talk myself into going with the ACR.

What size are those continentals, 325's?

305 and 325. and two different sized 305. I think 650 and 680 but I really need to look at them again. I was buying based on actual OD and widths.
