    Gen3 4 Carbon Fiber Hood

Has anyone recently purchased a Carbon Fiber hood or trunk? I definitely want to get rid of my Gen3 Hood. I don't see any options but Carbon Creations and Anderson Composites. Never heard of these. JonB doesn't carry any. Autoform either. I had a Gen3 years ago I got from Andy FLATOUT and he had a CF hood and trunk and rear conversion that he got from Vipair. I know lots of folks had problems but Andy made this look great.

If I'm unable to find an OEM Gen 4 hood, this is what I'm going with on my Gen 3. I have no experience with Anderson Composites, but Carbon Creations is a good brand and have been in the industry for at least 15 years now.

I believe Tim Updyke (Timnineside on here) has a repaired OEM Gen 4 hood for sale. Oem hoods are extremely difficult to find, as I’m sure you’re aware.

I also believe Autoform will make hoods to order...I’m not certain though.

Not many options for the CF. I'd highly suggest buying one of Autoforms Gen 4 hoods made from fiberglass. They are a great product and i've seen some of the products that show up off those ebay listings and you'll regret those later.

I don't have any experience with them, but Anderson Composites used to go by the name Seibon Carbon.

I don't think they took over, it was more of a name change for marketing reasons.

Thanks for the input, I am considering one.

Love to hear from someone who goes with the Carbon Creations or Anderson
