I have a 2004 that I am having trouble tracking down a headlight issue. As soon as I put the key in the ignition the high beams turn on and I can not get them to turn off. The high beam indicator never turns off on the dash as well. I have noticed I hear a clunking noise out near the driver headlight when I insert the key and the high beams turn on. I tried to unplug the battery and did nothing and also I have switched out the relay in the fuse box over the driver fender and nothing. Any ideas would help me out a lot. Thanks

Mine was acting up and I replaced the switch assembly

It was the switch assembly. Switched it out and took care of the issue
