    Headlight blanks Thanks Pappy

Ok, got my car back with the cage done. Car weighs about 2970 with the cage, I'm very happy with that, but want to get more weight off the nose so the headlights had to go.
They weigh 11 lbs each. Pappy made a big mistake and volunteered to help and I took him up on it! He said it took him 70 hours so far, and he even used his own car to install/uninstall/install/uninstall these probably 100 times. I can't thank him enough I had no idea the work that was involved. They came out great I think they make the car look meaner. Pappy says he wants to come back and touch them up a bit as his car varied slightly from mine. They are made out of carbon fiber, even the brackets that bolt to the factory headlight bolts are carbon! Thanks again Pappy!!!! I'm very lucky to have a friend like you!

They look great. Unrelated, but I used the same RaceDeck tile pattern in my last garage

Very nice! How long does it take to swap out the lights and install the blanks?

Nice work! I'm guessing +30lbs with the HID controller removed?

Just a couple minutes, there are three nuts each side.

Every time your car pops up on the forum I drool over the ACR fender vents that Pappy cut in the hood. They look spectacular! I wish I had the balls to do it.

Could I buy a template to cut fender vents in my hood? I'm buying a second hood (srt hood for my gts) and would be using it to sacrifice to the cause

Sorry, I meant getting rid of the HID system altogether (headlights, ballast, wiring) was worth that much. It will be cool to see where you end up in regards to weight when she's all said and done.

Cool i'll take it out. Any other modules in my car do you think I could take out? I've been scared to mess with that stuff, but any you can think of that I'm not using at this point, let me know! Thanks!

Yeah they are both super thin and light, no reason to change.
