Seems like the build is taking forever to get Blucifer ready for that 275 MPH attempt. Everything takes longer than expected and in some cases it's my fault as I tend to rework things 2 and 3 times to make it perfect even if it doesn't affect performance. Sent the heads and intake to Greg Good to rework his original work, CNC is far more accurate and these heads/intake were done by hand many years back. He added beryllium copper exhaust seats and Inconel exhaust valves to hold up to the heat produced by big boost. In addition to that he drilled and tapped the rear water jackets in the heads to get rid of the heat issues generally associated with those rear cylinders. Now it's time to ring the heads/block and reassemble it with copper head gaskets in addition to a little refresh on bearings and rings. Been a long time since I've heard it running, probably will be months more but at least the process is heading in the right direction. Here are some pictures of the heads and intake work.
