    Rebuilding a 2017 Viper GT

Another rebuilders channel. I like this guys style, more straight to the point. Hes fixed a Lexus RCF, GTR, Hellcat previously. Anyone know if this was a members car? This one actually includes a whole new front frame and hes going to have to transfer everything over. Looks like insurance attempted to fix it but backed out

Nice video. It shows exactly what you are in for. It is more than I would tackle, but you will have a very nice Gen V with a unique look. Great idea to change the color as long as it is coming completely apart. Also it is nice to have a brand new frame so everything starts off correctly. You will love driving it when you finish your project.

I like goonzsquad better. Better editing than this guy, lol. I don’t need to see your holiday inn videos, lol. But a different perspective, so thanks for sharing.

Looks like this one is going to be labor intense, just transferring everything over to the new frame but won't really require much body work or new parts to purchase. I was shocked when he said he's going to change the color since it didn't need much paint work. I don't think some people realize how high quality the OEM/prefix paint is on a viper. I would say he's decreasing the value but the car is a salvage title so it won't matter much. I'd be curious to know what he paid. The Goonz paid $42k but that TA didn't come with 95% of the new parts needed like this one.

I posted on the video about the viper being 150 hours to handpaint. Just need to let him know, if he does repaint, what he will be undoing.

i find Alex's style to be more straight to the point, goonsquad videos at times starts getting a bit showboaty and sometimes they talk way too much. In a few of his vids Alex even disclosed how much he paid for the car and how much in repairs it cost.

This dude really needs a partner to help him video.

Also, Nardo Grey is the Vape Pen of paint colors.

This project would be awesome though. Having a whole frame in a crate and moving everything over would be a lot of fun. Certainly more fun than pulling dents and fixing cracks.

Man I cringed at the sight of that oil pressure blinking also! And then he only put 10 qts in it. I hope he finds the other qt that is needed.

Man I couldn't agree more. Looks like muck and it's the trendy shade because Lambo did it years ago.

According to John Gastman, Brad has done quite a few frame swaps. His shop is across the road from Roanoke Motors in Illinois.

My car did that on first start up after an oil change. Blinked a few times and then normal oil pressure. Scared me for a second though. I assume that's what happened here.

He paid $54k plus fees. When you factor everything he has into the car i’m guessing conservatively he will have about low $80s into this project. He’s basically doing this for his YouTube. You could easily purchase similar unwrecked viper in the $80k range. As for Goonzsquad viper they had a better deal because it is an orang TA with heads and cam package. I would have replaced the frame. I wouldn’t be comfortable with the way the frame was repaired.

How do you figure? He’s putting almost nothing into the car except labor and a couple suspension parts.
