I have a friend that traded his red GTS in on a TrackHawk. The dealer had his GTS sold before the dealer even took it in trade. Because of weather the car was still at my friend's house even though the dealer had it sold.

Just my 2 cents.
I'd agree those auction prices are a realistic snapshot of today's Viper market - with a limited audience. I would've guessed the TA 2.0 would go closer to 90k. The all black ACR is reasonable. The GTS is spot on.
Most of the "stale inventory" in Cargurus, Cars.com, Autotrader, etc. are unremoved ads, lemons, or low-optioned cars - no track pack, no laguna, no CF, no aero, etc. I would almost go as far as saying that most limited edition numbered cars (TA 1.0, Launch Editions, Carbon Editions, etc.) sell within 1 month of being in the online market.
Either make an offer or move on. No need to turn this into a multi page debate...

Gotta love when people that don’t even own a Viper try to convince Viper owners that their cars are not worth what they are asking. Viper owners are pretty good at doing that all by themselves. Now we have non Viper owners chiming in?!!! How is this car ever going to survive?
The part that perplexes me is that the OP has had two 6 figure offers and was unable to come to terms with either of the potential buyers?!?! I'm not going to try and suppress Viper values but with over 10K miles and a car that is not 100% factory (To me an orange TA should not be altered) I'm not sure I agree with waiving off two offers at or over $100K.
Gen 5 , please realize you are a guest on this site and refrain from being so disrespectful of those that are owners/ members and allow you the privilege of participating on this Forum.
The reality concerning sales of Vipers, is that nothing has really changed over the past 20+ years. Vipers normally take 2-3 months to sell , similar to many high end cars , and there are tons of variables that cause this , not the least are guides that have no clue about the variances between and SRT10 and an ACR -- heck Gen IV ACRs never showed up in any guides so getting a Bank to finance one was super difficult . Contrary to popular belief ,most Viper owners did finance their cars , even if just a small portion. Sounds like SirHiss will get his car sold , but regardless of whether one likes or dislikes the overall package , might be nice for members to be supportive and keep the comments civil?
There is no doubt high quality Vipers are going up , some more than others, but in talking to fellow Dealers and friends who have dealt we these wonderful machines over 20+ years, there are just not as many coming up on the market that are pristine examples. As noted there have always been a bunch of vehicles show up on websites that are often already sold ,but the interesting note to those of us in the business , is fewer folks than ever are contacting us to trade Vipers in. Sure , they still come up, but many are choosing to keep their Snakes. Nuff said, but time , imho, for a little support and let's remember that the Club and the Forum exists primarily as a place for camaraderie and helpfulness --- there is a wealth of Technical Support here that we must all endeavor to preserve and foster.
I'll chime in here. I am the guy that slipped in at the last minute to nab to TA 2.0 package Viper. After buyer's fee I paid about $89500 for a 2016 Viper with a "TA 2.0 package. " If you look at my sig, I also have a 2014 TA 1.0. My sense of the original 1.0 market is as follows: 2+ years ago, they were selling for mid 80s. I know this since i have a friend that sold his to somebody. 2 years ago, they were selling for upper 80s. I know this because that is what I bought mine at. Last year they were selling in the low to mid $90s. To be fair, I don't have any actual known sales to back this up. If I paid essentially $90K for the car I just bought, I think the OP should definitely get more for his 1.0. They are not comparable given the history of the vehicle, etc that everybody knows about. I would not sell my 14 1.0 for the same price as my newly acquired 2.0 "package". His asking price is what I would ask for my 1.0.
IMHO, Gen 5 Vipers are the performance bargain of all cars! I spent a lot more money on my GTR to make is go fast on the track without overheating, become more reliable, etc. After buying my Viper 1.0, I don't even take my GTR to the track anymore. The Viper's cornering, braking, and balance is so much better than the GTR. The Viper's consumables are way less than the GTR. The Viper's track reliability is so much better the GTR even after sinking all kinds of money into mine. Of course, anybody who has a Gen 5 knows what a bargain it is at it's current market price!
To Gen5Snake, there is a reason that you are not in a Gen 5 right now. Your value for the car is not matching up with the seller's or markets value. Will it in the future? Time will tell........... In the meantime, I will be having a blast in a truly great car!

LuvSpeed ,
You are correct on the trend , as 2-3 years ago TAs were selling for upper 70s to low 80s, then mid 80s , then upper 80s, and now frequently in the 90s , or more. Ironically , it is a numbers game with Vipers, since compared to other Exotic Performance Machines so few were made , and it would not surprise me that we will see changes in years to come concerning the TA2/ TA2 Option cars, as there were even fewer cars like them made. At the current time , TAs , Launch Editions, ACRs, Limited Models, are all seeing increased pricing -- some are small ,others can be determined to be substantial, but even a more common Viper is seeing stable pricing. We disagree back and forth , but the end result is just common sense -- they took 25 years to produce the same number of vehicles as Corvette does in a single year. Supply and demand my fellow members, the simple reason Snakes will continue , in my personal opinion , to slither upwards for years to come.
I find it interesting, and quite obvious, that those that argue about low value on Vipers and talk about stagnant sales are those that don't own one. They are holding out for the bargain and while a few of those will surface from time to time due to unique circumstances, they are certainly not the norm.
I think we are at a time when we will only see values stabilize and slowly increase over the next few years

Very well said Bill and Luvspeed (also congrats on the new snake!! Sounds like you a hell of a collection going!)
In response to stealth, I haven’t waived off anyone yet. Personally I’ve just made the decision to see what happens over the next few weeks. As mentioned originally, I don’t need to sell it. Frankly I could pay cash for the other car and start modifying it tomorrow, but there is no rush or reason. As of now there are now two very comparable cars I could choose from to do what I wanted to accomplish so as long as I have options, there’s no need to sel to the first decent offer I get. I have graciously thanked both for their current offers and told them what my plan was and if no one else comes in higher it’s totally plausible that one of them may be the happy new owner but I am not in a rush.
I have also opened my eyes to partial trade options as that kind of fits the bill as well (and was presented with an interesting offer yesterday along those lines) so I want to do my homework and research the possibilities that holds as well...
Thank you all for the feedback and well wishes. We may have a few bad apples in here but overall the viper community is amazing and I’m glad to be a part of it. This man will have a snake in the garage until the end of time.

It's mine now.![]()
Stealth, 9 liter extreme is the game plan...
wasnt this Alex Ristanovic's car previously?
Car looks great to me OP!! I like the stripes and always do. GLWS!!
To me these cars are just phenomenal at their price point.
OP @sirhiss have you posted on auto sites? Ebay as well? There was a time last year when 4 orange TAs went on sale.
Serpent, I haven’t. I literally posted this and put a post on the voa Facebook group and that’s it... very minimal advertising. There’s a part of me that hurts to imagine selling it so I think my subconscious is convinced if it sells to someone in the VOA already they will actually drive and enjoy it. That brings me a little peace.
I like those stripes, wondering how they would look on a black car.
