Nowhere in the statement that you quoted me saying did I say, “Stryker values cannot increase” I simply said that the people buying a car for a beautiful paint color and the folks buying a car that was a numbered limited run, record breaker brought into this world for one specific purpose, will likely care about different options differently...
This is Ofcourse only my opinion and could prove to be incorrect, but ultimately, it’s how I feel and what I believe so unless you’d like to shine some light to persuade me otherwise, I stick to my original statement... and I’d still feel better about modifying a Stryker painted car over a TA...
Regarding the recent ones with heads/cam that sold. I don’t think it hurt value exactly but I am 100% sure it narrowed the field of people who considered buying it. (I have spoken to a couple people myself that passed on them specifically for that reason)
Sapphirebob, that is precisely why I am having this conundrum. I want to just drive and build and enjoy my viper but there’s a part of my brain that feels guilty about modifying the TA. It still isn’t out of the realm of possibilities... just not the current preference.
Good points regarding the bearings parabs and space truckin. Hadn’t considered that thought process... how does your 9.0 drive compared to before when off the track? Is it still fairly road friendly or do you feel you sacrificed a lot of regular drive ability?
