NAG1 and Vipers

I was just wondering how comes that the NAG1 never made into the GEN5 Viper ?
For a pure blood Viper guy this tranny is a sorcery but it could have helped to increase Viper sales.

It is a very strong transmission, the only part that needs a little design is the Bell housing.
It has also the right size though it is heavier than the T56

With steel clutch plates it could have handled the 600hp.

These are the possible reasons why:

-$$$(small budget for the Gen V)
-Doesn't fit
-Can't handle the torque of the Viper
