Viper GT Breakout ViperJeff Master List

    2015 MY - 152
    • SRT COUPE - 151
    • SRT GTC COUPE - 1

    2016 MY - 54
    • SRT COUPE - 34
    • SRT GTS COUPE - 4
    • SRT GTC COUPE - 16

    2017 MY - 122
    • SRT COUPE - 5
    • SRT GTC COUPE - 117

This is solely based on "Bright Chrome Viper GT Sill Badge" listed on the Equipment List. There is nothing in the VIN that identifies GT's. I looked for variations of the "GT Sill Badge" and could not find any. Also I'm not completely sure/confident, as there is the outside possibility that a GTC model may have been produced with the "Sill Badge Delete" and not shown on the Equipment List

The conversation in this thread shows that documenting the GT's will remain forever troubling as the Window Sticker may be the only way to correctly identify all the GT's.

My car originally shipped with Viper GT on the sill, it is a 2015 GTC Coupe. Where would it list this? On the window sticker or are you looking at the build sheets?

On the "Window Sticker" that was sent to me, on the Title Line it shows "Viper GT" and on the "Interior Features" is shows "Viper Door Sill Plate Applique". On the "Equipment Listing" (which is different than a "Build Sheet" is shows "Bright Chrome Viper GT Sill Badge". I don't have a window sticker from all 3 years, so I don't have proof all three years are listed the exact same way.

As a side note, as you know, I only have one 2015 listed.... and it's Black.

Damn, this list may be pointless as a great deal of the door sills are listed, however they are listed as "Viper Door Sill Plate Applique", there is no way for me to determine "GT" on those and you {if} having a GT, it make the above incorrect

Appreciate your input. It's through doing this, it helps determine if the documents that I have are coving ALL the bases

    That is true.

On the ones that show "Satin Black Sill Badge" also show "Bright Chrome Viper GT Sill Badge" which helps with the "GT" identification. There are however many with "Satin Black Sill Badge" that have the "Viper Door Sill Plate Applique". Again, hard to verify GT status

Looking for other methods to identify GT through the equipment list

Thanks again Jeff, my window sticker doesn't appear to have GT on it anywhere, it does have Viper Door Sill Plate Applique under the Interior Features. I did ask the Concierge to delete them however before it went into production but they wouldn't let me. I just removed them after I got the car.

Yeah, there’s got to be something that will make that breakout easier. I know there is more than one 2015 Viper GT. If I did have the only one, it would certainly be interesting. But I’m more than sure I was considering at least two 2015 GT’s when I bought mine.

    On a second note,

What is the best way to get a window sticker reproduction for your vin? I found some website that does them, butbis the an official way to get it from Dodge?

I have no resource on reproduction window stickers, or something I've even remotely considered, sorry.

My '15 is a GT, but the brushed door sill plate just says 'Viper'.

Ran a quick 15 VIN test, it doesn't give me a good feeling when some of them are returned "Sorry, a Window Sticker is unavailable for this VIN", however, I have found some addition info, guess I need to run that out next

Thanks Hamrhead, that helped. the GT's seem to be all over the place on how it's documented. This is not going to be a fast process

**Update - Because I spent most of my time looking at 2017's, I missed an easy piece of documentation. On the 2015's only, there is a line on the equipment list that shows "GT Badge", that documentation is not used on 2016 or 2017

My apologies Good Sir, however, I thank you for unknowingly helping identify 151 GT’s
