Any hope for that to happen?
What parts do I need to insulate and protect if I were to spray the damn thing?
And what do you guys recommend to get most of the bay components to shine and look new?
Thanks

When I did my engine bay detailing I didn’t do the full wash.
My Viper is a daily driver so detailing was done accordingly.
Intake rails, valve covers letters, a/c dryer tank and front brace can be polished (chrome like) by hand with regular polishing compound.
Everything else was cleaned up with regular degreaser and some elbow grease. After that I use any plastic dressing.
Now, a couple of time a summer, I just wipe everything with a detailer damped rag.
Re-polish the chrome once or twice a summer and voila...
Does the job for me.
By the way, car has 92000km and is not driven in rain

Looks Awesome.
You can also do this too
Wow...looking good fatboy..
Beautiful!
Thank you
Wish my engine bay looked that good.
I use Chemical Guys Barebones on anything black. It smells like grapes too so that's a two-fer.

20190216_120924.jpg20190216_120910.jpgJust chiming in... I use a product on my 2013 Harley Street Glide called S100 engine brightener... I was amazed when I first used it on my Harley engine as it made the texture black look brand new and doesn't effect the chrome at all... when I got my viper home after purchaseI was pretty bummed at how dirty it was and frankly being a desert har the engine looked pretty bad and remembered the S100 and used it after a light spray down with water and let it dry the S100 made it look fantastic and I sprayed it over everthing... no smoke or oder after the first ride either and it lasts a very long time, haven't done my harley in 3-4 months and still looks like a new engine
