Damn.....that’s a great price I paid a lot more than that a few years ago. Good spot.
Some people are wanting the "Other" quick jack, that raises the car higher (not as high as a lift) and does it with hydraulic cylinders, one each side of the car and the hydraulic unit is on a wheeled cart for the front of the car....FYI
Apples and oranges. The Quick Jack is far more portable and quick setup. Plus it can be stored with practically zero footprint in a tight garage. There are pro's and con's to all of them but nothing compares to the portability of the QJ especially if you're going to use it at the track.
I bought 2 of them 5 years ago , no issues .
Hey VT, just read some negative reviews on that unit. One from 10 days ago and one from 15 days ago and there are others. They all say “leaking” cylinders. “Would not recommend.”
I see some have used with no worries.
I am interested, but don’t want the hassle as others noted in reviews.
Keep us informed as to how you like it.
Maybe they are made in China these days and aren’t of same quality.
Thank you sir
oof, need to find someone with a costco membership as I've got a BJ's card
Thanks man!
The SLX version's max lift point positions look to be about 58-59" apart. Is that compatible with the Gen V Viper's lift point separation front-to-rear? (I saw a youtube where someone with a different car said that they should have bought the extended model.) I was planning on buying one for the car that I track; but, would be nice to verify that it fits a possible Gen V purchase.

edit: I answered my question with a search of the forum. A forum member posted that he ordered and uses the Quickjack 5000SLX on his Gen V
