2010 Viper Final Edition Convertible ACR

I saw this car on AutoTrader. Thought it was interesting. Seems like this could be top of the pile for GenIV rare cars. Not sure about the price but this looks to be a pretty special car if it all checks out.

    That's a good price if it's a real ACR Vert .

The wing does not look like an ACR vert. It looks more like "aero" version if it was factory produced.

UPDATE noted below...yes, wing is ACR vert...better image on laptop confirms same. MY error.

The Gen IV ACR verts did have a different wing that the coupes, if I remember correctly.

I believe that couple that owns a ton of Vipers have one. I believe there to be 15 2010 ACR convertibles...not 1.

From the production listing it looks like the VCA 50 of 50 car. There are no final addition painted roadster ACRs that I have heard of. Maybe Bill P will hop in as I think all the very ACRs were sold through woodhouse.

UPDATE...Yes, wing is that of a 2010 ACR Convertible. Had to find image on laptop to get better view.

    Yes, there were 20 made.

they did make a aero car option, but that's not a woodhouse acr car, and don't think they made a aero option in a vert only a coupe per srt, woodhouse had special vert acr cars made

Once I saw a better view of wing, it looks like ACR vert. The ACR wheels were black...could have been changed.

Best way to resolve this is to call Bill Pemberton at Woodhouse with VIN.

Actually they did make the SRT10 vert (non-ACR) Gen4 with an aero option. Not many of them, but they did. I own one.

50 FE's built, 20 coupes, 18 Verts, and 12 ACR's. Something tells me there was an vert aero built for a raffle or something way back for the VCA. Out of the 50 built, only 18 were allocated outside the U.S.

Found it in Viper magazine, Feb 2011 issue with Jeff Dunham on cover. It's #50 of 50 and was for a VCA raffle.

The FE ACRs had 2 logos on them. We have one in our local club. I’m 99% positive there was no FE vert ACRs. The 1% not positive is that the production listing for 2010 has a couple of inaccuracies and there could be a couple of odd cars out there. I believe the car in this add is misrepresented as an ACR.

I ordered this car after finding out no one had done one like this and the note tells the rest, but it is definitely not an ACR convertible!!! It is the only Final Edition Convertible done with the Aero Group, though!

In designing the ACR convertible with SRT/Dodge , I elected only to do 4 colors ( though Dodge asked me to do them in just one color) , and entered them as such , hoping it might slip through the cracks. It did and therefore we had 20 topless ACR Snakes in yellow, black, white and red ( 5 each ). The cars have their own factory coding and are considered by many at Corporate to be the lowest actual model Viper ever built. Over the years some folks have tried to state a Viper Convertible with the Aero Group is an ACR vert, and so folks have to be wary. As noted by comments above the wing is not the same , as the SRT Engineers took the ACR convertible to the wind tunnel and designed a one of a kind wing to work specifically for this model.

Hope this is helpful in clearing up questions on both of these unique Vipers -- ACR Convertibles and the only Final Edition Convertible with the Aero Group.

Great info Bill , thanks for sharing that !
I personally think SRT/Dodge dropped the ball in not making a TA with Targa Top from factory............
