2001 GTS Sapphire blue, one owner, 8272 miles, good condition: cover, loads of viper magazines. Time to let it go.....Opinions on value for sale?

I paid $45,000 for my 2001 Sapphire with 16,000 miles on it 3 1/2 years ago. The car is like new and was very well maintained mechanically. Sapphire is a great, 1 year only color. Hard to figure the market out. My guess is $45,000 to $55,000. That assumes it's mint, original and well maintained. Good luck with your sale.

It's worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay. Since most owners want way more than the car is worth because they figure their car was a financial investment, price it high and wait. You'll figure out pretty quickly what it's value is.

Here is an '01 Saphire ACR w/6100 miles for one comparison. https://www.myhotcars.com/2001-dodge...ion-c-1686.htm

It would be worth more if it had factory stripes

Best of success with the sale. My first Viper was an '01 GTS, sapphire blue with silver stripes. That blue is a knock-out.

As Capevettes said, Market is tough to guage right now. The fact that the car is a one owner vehicle adds value. Low mileage is also a huge bonus. Assuming you have all books and records, I wouldn’t sell it for less than $50K. Might bring more if you can find the right buyer. You shouldn’t have any trouble getting $47K - $49K if you just want to get rid of it. If a dealer had this car, they would probably price it in the upper $50’s. You might also want to call VE and see what they would offer you for the car, so at least you have a starting point. Best of luck to you.

That is actually a pretty damn good deal on a low mile rare color ABS ACR. Wonder what the dealer paid for the car, or if it’s just on consignment. If the car had stripes, I’d be calling on it.

    Typically their cars are consignment.
