    Engine Cylinder Liners

    Are the liners in our blocks wet or dry?

    If we have dry liners, could we leave them out and get a huge bore increase? 10L engine?

    We would need to make sure still have enough material. We would use the process below to coat the aluminum.

    Just trying to get to 10L.. Thinking outside the box, crazy? Yes!

    Gen 1 is wet sleeve, Gen 2-5, dry sleeve. You may want to reach out to Kevin at Exotic Engine Development, they've done 9L+ builds.

    Thermal expansion and head bolt cylinder deformation stresses have to be considered. Iron-based sleeves control both.
