Gen 2 RT 10 rear window

Has anyone found a replacement gasket for the rear window on a 1999 RT/10?

When mine went bad, I took it to a small local Auto Glass shop. They were able to put a new seal on for about $50. It wasn't as perfect as the original but looks decent and gets the job done. The only other option I found was to buy a new rear window with an intact seal and that wasn't worth the cost.

I'm thinking a strip of some 3M stuff is what most have done in the past.

This is what I used to replace mine. It’s the “Style A” and code 1120A5. Seems to work well. Certainly better than the rotten one I had on there.

My seals are ok but the glass has scratch marks on it. Has anyone found a miracle scratch remover for glass? I've already tried both toothpaste and baking soda and got no results.

If you cut the bottom corners correctly it all fits together well. I bought a bunch so I could mess up a couple times. I really don’t drive with the window in, I just store it over the winter with it in. It cut easy with a box cutter. The worst part is getting the old one off and the adhesive cleaned up. The car is all packed away but if I can get a pic when I’m out in the garage I’ll post it.

I screwed my first attempt up. So I took it to a tint/glass shop and they put it on for me, and removed the old adhesive.

I'd love to replace my sealer but I don't have the key for the locks.

I have a Mopar Lock kit for the rear glass...has the locks, key and hardware. Can't remember where/when I bought it but I don't need it. Let me know if you want it.
