The smog tech has no way to know what's inside the engine, which is why they only check for things like C.A.R.B. numbers for visible components like headers. Once it passes, then just change back from the "smog" tune.
I've been dyno tuning cars for 2 decades now, there is a lot which can be done to make things "seem" compliant and pass just fine. Do I know about Vipers? No, not a damn thing, yet.
Is the Arrow controller for Viper a proper stand-alone management system like a MoTeC, or just a piggyback?
