    Hard Top 1996

Does anyone have a hardtop for sale? Preferably black? I have a 1996 RT/10, not sure if a Gen 1 or Gen 2 hardtop will fit or if they’re both the same. Let me know if you have anything available! Ttillots@gmail.com

As I recall, there are some differences between 92-95 rear latches and a 96 R/T 10 hardtop...while Gen II may be different as well. There is an old thread explaining the differences...along with the necessary match adaptations.

The Gen 1 tops mount up the same, latch in front, bolts to hold the rear. That being said, with your slider windows, You might be able to use a Gen 2 top. Just have to mount it up to see how the windows seal. I have seen it work before. The rear latches lock in just like the soft top. If you have a friend with a Gen II RT, maybe borrow his top to see if it works before buying one.

If you can't find a factory one you can always talk with Steve at Autoform he can build you one and send it painted and ready to go. I got one from him 2 years ago, very high quality workmanship and paint is show quality.

Maybe I’ll give him a call. I’m just in the process of a complete rebuild right now and $3400 wasn’t an option to spend on a hardtop. I’m located in Washington State
