    Car will not start

I had the intake off changing plug wires. Car started 3 days ago fine. Now cranks but acts like it's only firing on 4 cylinders. You can here it pop, but will not run. Any thoughts?

I would undo then reconnect EVERY connector as a beginning...also looking carefully at every plug wire for correct routing, injector harness, and fuel line, and all sensors as outlined in service manual. Are individual injectors all firing? Spark at every plug?

I THINK I understand your post...but not sure that I do. "Car started 3 days ago fine."...but after starting, did it run well, drive well??

" Now cranks but acts like it's only firing on 4 cylinders."...Does it or does it not run in a sustained fashion..or, does starter just turn engine over without actually running when starter disengaged.

Whatever the answers, I would still start over as I stated above. If that does not solve issue, time for an analyzer.

    Is this car stock??

OK swapped out the coil packs, now the car runs still missing bad code coil 2 and coil 3 fault. need to check the harness. Anyone know is coil 1,2,3 are on the back (6 pack) coil?

"The rear coil pack contains 3 separate coils and fires cylinders 1,2,3,4,6, and7. The front coil pack contains 2 individual coils and fires cylinders 5,8,9, and 10."

yes but each coil fires 2 plugs. What coil pack is 2 and 3 (4 plugs total the ECU has codes for 5 coil packs, not 10.

    codes are p0352 and p0353

OK anyone have the wiring from the ECU to the coils? I have changed the coil pack and it's still bad. If it's the wiring it's the ECU.

The PCM has 3 modules C1, C2, and C3...the pinouts of which are labeled in section 8W-80 of the appropriate year's Service Manual.

Thanks, the reason I asked is that some color codes of some wires changed between 2003-4 and 2005-6 for at least one major connector. If you like, text your smartphone number or email address to me and I will send a photo of the 2004 PCM connector pinouts to you later today. 317-402-9013

Good news, Thanks to Steve-Indy, two open wires from Black/Black ECM plug pin 9 and 3 (coil drive 2 and 3) open. I can fix open wires in my sleep. Again, thanks Steve, if you are ever in North West Florida, look me up.

After finding out that the 6 pack coil is 1,4,5 coil driver, and the 4 pack is 2,3 coil drive I had left the 4 pack unhooked, the multi-meter dose not lie. Hooked up all the connectors and the car still ran like crap. So I did not have the Air temp sensor installed, just connected and as soon as I touched it, BAM, engine starts to run better. So I have a new one in hand. My car has had problems with a low RPM stumble. and idle quality at times for the last 2 years. I never saw anything bad in the ECU logs... I hope the is the smoking gunshot fixes all that.
