3k Mile 2010 Dodge Viper ACR sells on BaT for 67,500

A 3k-Mile 2010 Dodge Viper ACR sold on BaT yesterday for $67,500, I think this was the one that sat at a Ferrari dealer for over a year with the asking price north of 80k, nice car, but I prefer mine with the one drivers stripe:

I wouldn't sell a Viper on BAT to save my life. They have historically been purchased at very low prices, while they're German/European counterparts on BAT have sold for the moon.

Why would anyone sell a ACR on BAT is beyond me. Historically they get absolute bottom dollar there.

What do you guys think it should have sold for? I’m a gen IV ACR owner, love my car, but how much more should a solid black 2010 have sold for?

BAT or EBay auctions are similar. Take a never before shown 8 year old Viper and list it at no reserve and see what happens. Limited pool of viper buyers are going to bid without touching the car. Fast liquidity but below market prices

    NAILED it.

That site cracks me up especially the commenters. Bunch of broke dicks and dreamers that have never owned anything worth a damn in their lives but will log on there and critique sellers over non factory spec spark plug wires and stuff like that...lol

J277 doesn't appear to be at a good time. Late in the day on the first Friday.

Trump/Ryan tax bill in 2017 changed 1031s to exclude assets like cars and jets. Now it's real property only. However, transition rules permit a personal property exchange to be completed in 2018 if either the relinquished property was sold or the replacement property was acquired by the taxpayer during 2017. Sorry guys ... not gonna work for the Mecum cars.

what about a 2010 133 ACR (#5) car still in the wrapper with 18 known miles and still at the owning dealership?

And it doesn't look like that day is televised either........

Would love to have an all-black ACR! Price seems fair, but it’s hard for a casual observer like me to get a real perspective on value when they seem to vary widely and often sit for a while before selling.

Nobody is paying that much for a 33k+ mile gen IV ACR.
