Just picked up my 2009 ACR from Cordes Performance this afternoon. It was there for a couple of days having a custom exhaust fabbed up, along with install of smooth tubes and a K&N Filter. The owner is a friend of mine, so he offered to dyno the car when it was bone stock (as a baseline), and immediately after having the parts installed.
The exhaust consists of Kooks HFC (one on each side), and the rest is straight piped. Exhaust is TIG welded, and utilizes 409 Stainless. Exhaust was completely fabbed up in house, from scratch. Absolute work of art in my opinion, and it's a shame it's all covered up behind the sills. The car was Prius quiet before, and is VERY loud now with this system. Drone isn't bad at all IMHO, and the sound is out of this world. It has a very distinct tone to it that is hard to capture on camera, but in person it's got the perfect mix of rasp and deep. I am VERY happy with how this turned out!
The car baselined at 528WHP/503WTQ. With the exhaust, smooth tubes, and K&N the car dynoed at 553/533 for a gain of 25WHP and 30WTQ. More impressive than the peak numbers are the all-around gains that have been made across the entire power band. Goes to show how restrictive the factory cats.
