does DSE sell the reinforcement kit? First I'm hearing of this.

No DSE doesn't. It's on the viper store at the bottom of the link. https://theviperstore.com/Viper5_Pro...Mechanical.htm

In the event that it helps anyone....

My passenger side door had some sort of rattle near the rear of the door ever since I got it at 10k miles. It was kind of a metallic sound and was not present at all times. Sometimes it would happen with the window up, sometimes with the window down, and sometimes not at all for several trips of driving the car...conceivably just to mess with my OCD. Today I got annoyed and removed the door panel to look around, with some replacement door clips handy thinking it was very likely to be broken clips causing the rattle or something of that nature. I did find two broken clips, no surprise, but when I replaced them the rattle was still present. After looking around even more behind the clear plastic shield at the bottom of the window I found a bolt and it was basically ready to fall out inside the door. (picture below) I raised the window to about halfway for easier access, tightened it up (10mm socket), and the rattle was completely gone. YMMV, but I hope it helps someone.
