    Got my new 1994 Viper...battery help?

    Hello Viper community,finally got my "new" 1994 Viper I bought last summer.Retired,moved north,and spent summer building 40x60 shop with help from my brother!!Got metal roof on last week,so told my budy I'm ready for car.Came yesterday.A nyone know what battery I need..have to boost it to move it,have old battery from ACR,top mount....this one side mount only?Have to remove rear tire to Change?Thanks for any help!     Congrats !!

    Your battery is a group 78 (side terminal only)...behind left rear wheel. I have also used group 75 (side terminal only) without problems.

    Thank you Steve,will look into new battery..Have to get new tires also,friend of mine has had this car over 20 years,original tires,30,000 kms..I had to buy it to drive it..lol first Viper I was ever in...

    Also,he had car parked last year or more,I know I need to change fluids...but he misplaced bolts for battery cover ..anyone know what size I need?Guess I should contact Jon B,see if he can get me replacement bolts

    Congrats on your new car and your new garage. Both look great. You will need several cars to fill that big garage. What else will be going in there?

    Thanks guys,should fill up real quick.Been a dream of mine for long time.Originally a truck guy,so have a few of those..40 year old Chevy Blazer I've had over 30 years(before I started working at Chrysler),first new vehicle I ever bought 2004 Dodge Ram Rumble Bee(never seen rain or snow)32,000kms,2009 Ram Larimie(winter beater,had since new),09 Viper ACR (bought for my 50th birthday gift,first nice car I ever had)Retired after 30 years,bought 52 acre property in northern Ontario,bought 2005 Jeep for yard car,cheaper than side by side!!Kubota tractor to help build shop,clear land,move fill(saved tons of backbreaking work)An d finally 1994 srt 10 I made deal to buy from friend August,2017....Couple of picts while building.....also,never got married or had kids,so that makes big differenceDSC04963.jpgDSC05105.jpg

    Thanks for comments,retirement is good,but I have not worked so hard in a long time.(not much free time to enjoy car)Myself and one of my brothers did all work on shop,footings,block work,framing,trusses etc.Only had a crew in for concrete slab...47 yards of cement,knew we could not do proper finishing of such a large slab.Now finishing up electrical,starting insulation.Doors should be here Monday.Heres a couple picts of OH-9 ACR(I like that!)for SilverAcrDSC04326.jpgDSC04544.jpgDSC04547.jpg
