I just did my coilovers last week and found my front links trashed like that. Nobody in town carries them except dodge so the replacements just came in today (since I wasn't going to pay $400/pair). I was surprised mine were as bad as they were also!

Did springs on mine a few weeks ago and found the sway bar links trashed. I'm going to replace them this week

Geez, Is this a gen III issue or both Gen III & IV? Like sidwin said, How many miles? What kind of driving do you typically do?

Has 27k on it. I have had it for 2 years and only put 4k on it. Its a joy ride dream car for me. I dont track or anything. 6 owners before me and not one maintained it like they should have. I Have put right around $9,000 into just replacing all kinds of stuff but is gtg now. Getting all the love it deserves!

Viper owners are notorious for doing oil changes every 3k and that is about it. Dry rotted tires, original brake fluid, etc. That's one of the problems with a low mileage car owned that just sits in a garage.

Mine got done at 15K miles. Looked to be in similar condition. (great maintenance history.. priceless)

When I took delivery of the car @22K miles, they were definitely on the dry side.

I think it's mostly dry rot decay. Gotta keep 'em lubed.

For the money, switch to adjustable units to allow for the four corner balance. ($$)

Van you post the link to where you bought the adjustable endlinks?

This thread jogged my memory. I did replace mine and the tranny mounts. Didn’t do the motor mounts though.
