9 liter extreme at Prefix Nearly there

Well excitement building up! Car is pretty much nearly complete! Had car on rollers yesterday at Prefix(video coming soon!) and produced what it was expected to produce at this stage(I'm told this is a "green" engine still), so all good! A few final tweaks I gather and car will be ready to get shipped back. Been a long time away from me-had to ship across the pond- and so can't wait to get it back! Scot and Dick have been excellent throughout, and duly confirmed all the previous glowing comments from others!
Summary of all mods to my car thus far( and a couple to come):

    9.0 Liter Extreme Stroker kit
    Upgraded oil lines
    Higher pressure radiator cap
    Accusump oil accumulator
Modification of DSE shield to accommodate Accusump up front.
    Mocal Differential and Transmission Coolers,
    Wavetrac Helical LSD
    Triple Carbon clutch
Change of first 4 gear ratios to Gen IV cluster(Dick's advice), and 5th 0.8 and 6th gear 0.63
    Shot peening of gears
    Ross Murray Roll bar
    Prefix sports 100 cell Cat
Plasma coated exhaust from tip to headers.
    Increased heat insulation sills
    DSE catch cans
    Underdrive pulley
    Lithium ion battery
    Titanium lugs
    DSE extended diffusers and splitter
    Girodisc brakes ST pads
    Forgeline 18/19 wheels
    A/C cutout @ WOT delete
    TBC lightweight carbon seats Tillett

And just waiting on my new CF airbox with 9.0 L instead of 8.4L on it!

What's the story on the exhaust tips? Help reduce noise to comply with track noise level restrictions?

Yes. Well that's the theory at least. As it stood, the exhausts blared straight onto the noise meters as I blasted past. Maybe now as the tips are directed slightly downwards hopefully might help with noise restrictions. We'll see I guess..!

Really, really, nice!!!!! Curious to know what ratio's for 5th and 6th? I'm sure there are more mods as you said. Dick worked with Dan Cragin to provide me a new fuel pump that he says was spec'd for the 9.0L si I assume that's been upgraded too.

Cheers! Yes I gather all 9.0's now have this pump upgrade.

beautiful. I love when people post pics like this I can look at them all day. that coating on the headers gonna be enough to keep the heat down or could you benefit more by wrapping them or something.

Congrats dude!!!! Can't wait to hear your write-up after your first track event!
"A/C cutout @ WOT delete" So does that mean you can run your A/C while on the track?

    Cheers buddy!
Yes. I discussed this with Dick. On WOT(and there is a lot that going on on track! hehe!), as you may know, AC on OEM cars cuts out to preserve horsepower to engine(he reckons about 4-6 hp on a good day). Well with an over 800 hp engine Cable, I can afford to "lose" say 5 hp to stay cooler. After all I am not into any competitive timings, so losing a tenth of a second on my lap on track is ok with me.....

im cuious on the accusump decision.. was that a prefx recommendation? same with the differential.. i thought the stocker was quite stout.

    Prefix sells the accusump kit.

2nd and 3rd gear also change, the whole cluster has to change, you will love the new gears.

i thought the swing arm oil pickup took care of a need for this.. i know the vette guys swear by the accusump.. but alas they dont have the swing pickup

No it was my decision. Even though the Viper has a Swing arm, which is good, its still no dry sump. Ultimately dry sump would have been the best however that is both a more involved and costly conversion. Accusump is probably a good mid way solution-a sort of small peace of mind. If you don't track the car ever of course you would not need any of this as the standard setup is good. And even for those that track its probably ok, but as I said just an extra security layer. Not sure which oil lines Prefix use. Maybe Scot could chime in.

Didn't know that Jack, and wasn't explained that so that's news to me. I thought it was only those gears. I've kept same final drive.

Congrats, that is going to be a beast no doubt. Love how they've added the extra insulation all over the place to manage the extra heat generated.
