Autoform A 10 Wide Body Vipers invading Woodward 2018 Coupe amp Vert

This won't be the long winded post I'd like to make. Instead, it will be full of pictures. Autoform busted some serious ass to get these cars done. It's been a lot of work and a huge process.

More details to follow in regards to ordering, building, buying etc....Coupe front 3:4.jpgCoupe and vert rear 3:4.jpgCoupe and Vert 5.jpgCoupe & Very 4.jpgCoupe unloaded.jpg

    Fantastic looking kits....good job Autoform!!

It's about time somebody stepped up to the plate with more mods for the Gen 3/4 cars.

Anybody have ballpark of what the wide body kit is going to run?

Looks like there mite be a bit of labor for glue en and smoothen those parts onto the car. Any idea how many hours are involved.

I was looking for some deep dish wheels but the vert looks like it has stock GEN 5 wheels.

    Spacers?

    Spacers....

It's not a guess , do yourself a favor and give Steve at Autoform a call if you're serious . He's a great guy to deal with , and has a top tier reputation .

This is a wide body kit with the key word here being "wide"

Thanks for the clarification and pointing out this thread is about a "Wide Body" car...
Pretty sure I know what you're talking about...LOLOL

I also know what a WIDE body with a custom, one off, 2" chopped, comp coupe roof looks like on a WIDE BODY as well...
I knew what a "Wide Body" was 6 years ago when I built this car.

Therefore, if I say its a spacer, take my word for it... It's the same spacer that is used on the comp coupe.
And... the wheels are stock offset Gen 5 wheels.

Steve at Autoform has done a great job. I know someone that has installed his body mod.. I'm thinking of building
another one using Autoform's body panels.

Don't get sticker shock by the price. Remember you can recoup quite a bit of that money if you sell the stock body panels that come off the car.

Pretty cool. Reminds me of a Comp Coupe front, that mated with a G5 facia/grill.

TooBlue, it's been a while since I've seen pics of that car. Love the build you did.

Hey guys, J TNT is in the ball park on pricing. There are A TON of different options and as we all know "while you're in there" can really add to the bill. With the amount of labor that this entails, paint work and putting food on the table.... but hey, it's only money right?

The Vert is sitting on spacers all around. They are temporary for this car. The blue coupe (my car) had wheels built for it, in fact, the wheels were a small part of the inspiration for the build.

Also, these are panel replacements. You can take a perfectly fine Viper, toss on the A10 Wide body and return it back to stock in a matter of hours if you wanted to. Or, as TooBlue pointed out, off those stock panels for a decent amount of money. Unfortunately I can't do that as my panels were all destroyed in the process.

Cars look awesome! I’m not sold on the GEN V front end conversion, but that’s a minor personal preference thing. Love how the fenders flow with the lines of the car.

Best wide body kit I have ever seen on a Viper.

Having said that, I still am not a fan. I think the Viper's body and lines are perfect the way they are and should be left alone.

Nice work on the 'WIDE Body" you built six years ago.

May I ask why you chose to use spacers as opposed to a set of wheels with a deeper offset. Just wondering
I chose to use spacers instead of custom offset wheels so I could run any wheel I wanted to use. I wasn’t limited to one set of wheels. I have several different sets of wheels/tires I can use. In the photo above at the half mile, I was using a set of 18s all the way around with DRs in back. Another set for the dyno etc.

Of course I changed out the stock wheel lugs for the 2.5” ARP hardened lugs to compensate for the spacers.

How about a photo of the wide body parked next to a stock body?

I saw these cars at Woodward and they looked awesome, but it was difficult for me to determine the extent of the widening, due to all the parts being integrated so well. How much wider are they?

These cars look amazing! Saw pics on another post on IG. Congrats on such beauties!!! One question, what wing/spoiler is that on the coupe? Been trying to source one for my GenIII. Looking to do just a front splitter and deck wing. Thanks!

Awesome Viper, I remember admiring it years ago!

Back then, did you also consider the Jeff Lemke Street Serpent conversion?

The wide body panels on my car are Jeff Lemke’s Street Serpent conversion. I talked Jeff into building a comp coupe roof that would bolt right into the stock roof connection points. Plus reposition the rear deck glass to fit the lowered roof.

The Autoform panels look top notch. A friend was lucky enough to be one of the first to be built. He really liked the quality of the panels and the fitment to the car.
