Does anyone have insurance with this company??
I checked their rates ... mighty low compared to USAA/GEICO/StateFarm.
Any feedback would be appreciated ...

I do. The have been great. Been using them for years.
I do also. Very personable and great rates. Rates are "stated" with no milage limits. However they frown on using as a dd! Thankfully havent had to use the part of them that is the most important! Of course, they may have other dd options as well.
I am pleased with them and plan on renewing in Jan.

2 for 2 ... sounds great ...
Also, just found out a friend here has Grundy on his ACR Extreme 1 of 1.
Hit object in middle of the road, they covered, no problem ...
Unless I hear something different ...
I'm going in!!!
Yep...have had them for years. Would definitely recommend them.
I'll have to check them out...especially if they can beat USAA, I didn't think anyone could.
I have two cars with them. They were half of what Allstate wanted with the same policy limits and deductibles. The agreed-upon value in the case of a total loss is nice too. They'll want you to promise your car is garage-kept and no one under 25 years of age drives it. Can't be a daily driver used to go to work in, school, etc.

I have had Grundy for multiple cars and they have always been the least expensive. They were literally half of what Hagerty wanted for the EXACT same coverage. Not hard to understand the limitations compared to "regular" insurance. Also, I know someone who had a major claim with them on a Lamborghini and got paid off in full agreed value 180K.
I have them also. They were 1/3 the price of Hagerty for agreed value on my Viper and easy enough to deal with. They just require that I always have a daily driver registered and the car is stored in a locked garage.
no mileage restrictions too, just cant daily like people have mentioned. They said the "occasional" drive to work is ok. Its the most highly recommended agreed value insurance on this forum.
My father and I both had Grundy at one time, but dropped them after filing a claim and having one hell of a time getting them to cover the actual repair costs. They eventually did pay, but had to pretty much threaten to get a lawyer. With their lower raters you get what you pay for with Grundy.
Grundy treated us right, opened garage door, took picture, wrote 159k check, no questions asked. Not sure if they'll insure us again, but will check again soon.

I remember when you posted that pic. Still makes me sick. But glad they took care of you.
I'm IN!!!!
Almost 1/3 the price of USAA ...
Kept DD on USAA ...
It boggles my mind that a company like Hagerty can stay in business with a company like Grundy in direct competition. Hagerty's quote was so outlandishly expensive on my ACR-E that I thought it was a typo or they misunderstood. Literally almost three times the amount. I guess some suckers pay it so Hagerty can continue to run expensive Barrett Jackson commercials.
I know it is extremely hard to compare insurance rates but... Hagarty was within $100 of Grundy this past Jan when I was shopping. The only reason I did not go with Hagarty was I "didn't have enough experience driving 650 hp cars." All my last 5 cars have had 4-500 at the wheels. They said they would after I have had the Viper a year. Got a bit turned off with that conversation. That is why I am with and will probably stay with Grundy.

About 3 years ago I switched from Hagerty to Grundy because Grundy was $400.00 a year cheaper with better coverage.
So define a good deal on insurance. I have American Family on both my 98 and my 01 GTS, cost is about $600 annually for each one, $1200 total.
Hmm Grundy looks to be significantly cheaper for me as well. I use nationwide for all my cars but that kind of unlimited coverage probably isn't needed for the Viper.
Has anyone tried JC Taylor Insurance?
I used to use them untill last jan. Been with them for about 20 years with my 1967 Mustang. No issues at all. They do not insure current cars. Well, at least this past jan they didn't. I was hoping to add the viper to that policy.
