Help needed What adhesive resin strut support to hatchback glass GTS

Hi all, as the title, my friend lifted his rear hatchback glass only to find that the bracket came away from the glass leaving a resin type glue mold still attached to the glass.

Anyone know what glue was used to hold the bracket in place?

I stopped using my rear hatch glass about 5 years ago for this exact reason. Not that stuffing the trunk full of beer and toilet paper was ever a frequent thing.

We were at a car show, the car had been on static display and at the end of the day Steve opened the hatch and the strut bracket fell off the rear glass leaving the thick green/grey colored resin n the glass, the black metal bracket came away with zero glue on it. this is probably one of the most underused vipers in the UK with the car being in storage for over 10 yrs so it has not come away from over use!

On the other hand I use my hatchback all the time and regularly fill the boot, but I do make sure I do not put pressure on the glass.

I'm guessing it was a 97 or 98? Seems to be super common in those years. I just had to re-glue mine a couple months ago.
