    Hi Flo CATS

    Hi Guys....
Well, i have asked before on this subject and trawling around the site at different but related topics i seem to find pro's and con's for Hi Flo CATS. I see a couple people complain of vibration..... is that correct? Is it maybe to do with the brand Hi Flo's? I was looking at Roe racing ones (i have and will keep standard headers & i have standard mufflers but belanger tips coz it removed crossover pipe) The other Hi Flo's i was looking at are in viperstore.com.
I cant decide either whether to keep my standard mufflers or get Corsa Catbacks as well. Either way i want to make sure i get the RIGHT Hi Flo's.
I have 2005 SRT10 roadster. Very low mileage and my absolute love.
Whats your thoughts fellow owners...? Sincerely appreciate any thoughts/experiences and even where else i can buy them other than what i mentioned (Roe & viperstore) :-) Cheers.
P.S i live in Australia and i need to get my choice absolutely right first time for obvious reasons! :-)

PPS: ADDED NOTE.... Have had an email from partsrack ref Hi Flo CAT and Belanger Catback for 1795 deal. Whats the Belanger like guys? Same/similar to Corsa? What with being in Australia its why i have to be sure as i need to get my choices right first time! :-) I asked if he could do same deal but Corsa not Belanger.... am awaiting reply.... (i doubt it though)
Im not against Belanger catback if its similar to Corsa but am not keen if like the Borla. :-/

Well.... no one commented. But thats cool :-) But for anyone who wants to know or for sharing info reasons..... I have decided on Hi Flo CATS from Roe Racing. Scott the geezer there has been excellent in his communications too. What i like about their Hi Flo CATS is the fact it has a flexi part in the pipe :-) Talking with Scott at Roe Racing over this it seems something they were well aware of regarding potential cracking on the solid non flexi Hi Flo mainly on Gen3 Vipers it seems most apparent. (mine is indeed a Gen3) Its a little more expensive than Partsrack one but for me, a no brainer. I will also be getting Corsa Catback in near future (funds tight atm) :-/

Yup good decision. I had them without issue and coupled with the Corsa it sounded great with no drone. Good luck. After you finish off the exhaust setup you should do a tune. It really wakes it up especially in the mid range. When my car was just boltons i did 499 to the wheels with hi flow cats, corsa, throttle body, filters and tune.

How much were those Hi Flow Cats? I have Borla on mine right now and want it to be louder.

$815 usd. Hi Flo cats with flexi pipe. Made to fit the 02 sensors perfectly too. I think these Hi Flo cats are 100% the right ones and worth that little extra compared to 'others' on the market. They sure know their Vipers.
Plus..... Scott told me he has these hi flo cats and corsa catback set up on his Mamba Viper and the corsa is also what i will add to mine too in time when funds allow.
Scott from Roe Racing. Very impressed with his communications help/assistance and all round service.
    Highly recommend Roe Racing.
As i live in Australia the shipping is a killer for me! Insane. But Scott was so helpful in securing as best a quote that could be and applied discounts as best as too. Mention when you speak to Scott/order etc, you are V.O.A forum member as he applies V.O.A discount too. Cheers guys.

Going to be placing an order for these from Scott. Did you install them yourself? If so, any tips

I went Belanger hi flow and exhaust. Loud and a little bit of drone in the low end. Install was easy, hardest part is getting the side skirt off once that is done 1 vband, O2 sensor and that is about it for the super hI-flow cats. Would do it again. Enjoy your setup as I have heard the Corsa has no drone which is nice. Cheers

Thanks, Install went well , side skirts were a pain as well getting the exhaust tips back to their original(ish) locations. Waaaay louder and I love it. Has anyone gotten tune after this or recommend one?

Here's a video sample after the cats were installed.

Side skirts were a PITA on mine as well...took me forever to get them off as they had adhesive of some sort under the parts where I have my sill plate covers.

I can't comment on the tune since mine isn't a Gen 3, but on my Gen 4, I noted that the high flow cats leaned out the mixture a bit on mine. I went ahead and retuned it just to get things back to where I wanted. If you don't have your own tuning software, I'm not sure it would be worth the expense of having it done since it wasn't a significant change.

I don't have tuning capabilities so good to know that it's not a huge deal. Thanks

I'm sure you would gain something, but I just don't think it would be worth the expense (it'd probably be a single digit HP increase). It's usually best to wait for a few major mods to accumulate, and then have it tuned.

Car sounds great BTW...did you go with metallic or ceramic substrate cats?

Honestly I have no idea lol. I got in touch with Scott from ROE and he sent me the link to purchase based off my car info.
