Gen 1 Exhaust What Where to buy

I have an early 1993 Gen 1 (with antenna) with stock exhaust. I would like it to be a bit louder, and added power is also good. So far I've seen discussion about Belanger, Corsa, and Borla, but not much regarding gen 1, or where to purchase the system.

Where can I purchase a complete system specific to the early Gen 1?

What should I be aware of when installing on a gen 1? I've heard the exhaust hangers are different.

Will the car need tuned after the exhaust change? Are there other surprises or parts needed?

Since I am mostly interested in improving sound, do new headers (looks like about $1800-2000) make sense, or can I just use a high flow cat and muffler?

Any other info SPECIFIC to GEN 1?

I'm currently looking at:
ROE Racing - Complete Belanger system $2950 (a bit expensive just to improve sound)
ROE Racing - "High Flow Side Exhaust System with High Flow Cats" $1260 (any one try this one before?)

The Viper Store - BEL-5506 - Belanger Complete side pipe exhaust w/ cats $1095 (more fabrication required than others)

M&M Headers are the best bang for the buck on a gen 1!!! Careful what you opt for as far as muffler, they get loud in a hurry.

I have a set of Belangers headers for sale. PM me for price. For the Gen I, I would make a simple 3" exhaust system with Spirals in front, Dynomax Ultraflows in the rear of the side sills. Sounds really good and not too loud. If it is too tame, take out the Spirals. Easy money.

99rt10- PM sent what spirals do you suggest? I've never purchased exhaust components. Cats or no Cats? Any tuning required?
